Jervonte Morgan aka King of Da Bama is making swift moves in rap music so hot it is sizzling. The multi-talented young man was interested in music since 4th grade. He started playing the piano at the age of 8. He decided to take his gift and love of music seriously while attending junior high school.
Presently, he is promoting the mix-tape, “Young Obama” and a compilation mix-tape with his Major-Glow family entitled, “Monster Ink”.
He is a swift, talented, and humble guy. When asked what he want his fans ultimately to gain from his music, he states, “I really just want to be respected for my craft. I feel; as if, the world is sleeping on me. In five years from now, I see myself still making quality and real music; which I feel a lot of artists’ lack. In ten years, I see our label, “MajorGlow Entertainment” as big as Def Jam. I want fans to see my struggle; a young guy from a small town in Alabama, who made it no matter what the obstacles he faced. I want my fans to never give up on their dream(s)”.
His character reflects one of honesty, sincerity, a good business head and a sense of humor clothed in a tough exterior personality. When asked, what he discovered to be the most surprising thing he learned in the music industry, his response, “(lol) a lot of people are shady, point blank. You have to make sure you have your paper work straight in this business”.
He has a new single, “She Got Me Open”. King of Da Bama says his new single is, “a new sound that a lot of artists are scared to do”.
His advice to new artists starting in the music industry is, “Never give up, keep going no matter what, keep grinding and don’t rely on anyone to do things for you. Go out and make yourself hot. Three things that it takes to make it in this business is individuality, the way you present yourself and being devoted to your craft”.

King of Da Bama says he wouldn’t change anything about his journey in his music career. He states, “What I went through made me who I am today… I am, “King of Da Bama. I am in this for longevity. I don’t plan to go anywhere. MajorGlow Entertainment hosted their first food drive Thanksgiving 2009 and plans to continue doing things to help the community. I want the world to see because you come from the, “streets”; it doesn’t mean all of your music has to be about drug money and cars. I especially want the younger generation to know that…I want to be known as the best and the first to really put on for Alabama.
